Okay so I promised our readers to go through each category of phones specifcally and talk about the different phones and what they are like. As far as simple phones that are pretty easy on the wallet Nokia is really quite good at it for offering what the phone has in it these phones are surprisingly cheap.

Nokia N79 – In the ever changing world of phones its harder and harder to find a phone that you JUST use for calling and not texting or email or music but the Nokia N79 is almost there it does have goodies like a music player and optional everything but it wasn’t built for any of that and so we know it doesn’t function for that purpose. Nokia is known for a great operating system that is highly customizable and easy to work with otherwise known as the symbian operating system. Most people don’t think Symbian is much different than a windows operating system and the truth is that is Really isn’t much different. Its Windows mobile on with a Nokia twist and thats about it it’s nothing super special like it is put out to be most the time. The up side to this phone is that it generally is very easy to work on and very simple and easy to navigate. It’s a great phone that has a little bit of everything inside of it and works pretty well.

Nokia N85- Another example of Nokia offering a good phone in a little package, The N85 is surprisingly functional phone with a music player than can expand to and eight GB micro SD card. The downside being SD cards can go for the same price you payed for the phone originally. The N85 also has an amazingly great camera on it that is five megapixels while it may not offer everything and anything you want the N85 is definitely a great possibility when your looking for a new phone.

Nokia 1661- The cheapest of the cheap phones usually you can find this phone for free with a contract, or for a few dollars at most. This phone is truly meant for maybe a bit of texting calling people and that’s it what a phone was originally meant for. The problem is that it ends up breaking often its not very durable. If you want a phone that just works for calling other people and doesn’t have any of those bells and whistles.
These are just three of Nokia’s many phones but were the ones I felt worth great mention, Nokia phones in general are usually great phones. They don’t tend to be to highly priced and they also are fairly reliable they may be a little on the easy to break side on some phones but others or their phones are truly durable phones that can be beat around and not even feel it. Look forward to other articles soon!
So my study into cell phones has brought me to the idea of writing an article about them. In one of my many recent adventures I was looking madly at new cell phones and what sort of thing I would like for many reasons. Is it durable, does it have some bells and whistles, whatever it may be.
The first question that you need to ask yourself is what exactly do I want, do you want a phone that can do everything, a touchscreen? a slider? maybe both, do you just want a phone that is highly functional and rugged so you know that no matter what happens to it its still gonna work for you. Pretty much no matter what you want it’s out there somewhere if you look hard enough, but it always comes at a price. You can buy a phone from five dollars to five hundred it just depends on what you’re asking for.
Keepin it simple- Every provider offers a phone that is fairly cheap and basic for a really nice pricetag, usually fifteen dollars or below. While these phones usually lack any extras on the phone itself and sometimes are a little on the chintzy side as far as being cheap and breakable but they will definately not hit your wallet nearly as hard.

Simple in action!
Rough and Tough- Any provider out there also provides their rugged phone the phone they claim can practically withstand an explosion, be totally submerged in water and the works right? Well you’ll pay for the extra reliance of these phones. Usually it’s hard to find an invincible phone for anywhere under one hundred dollars and if you do consider yourself darn lucky. Also with these phones while they maybe be able to withstand physical abuse they tend to be large and bulky. Overall a great pick for any of us not so coordinated and a little clumsy people out there that don’t mind a little extra bulk.

Unbreakable... mostly.
The everything phone-All of us have seen them the phone that’s on the commercials the phone that seems like it can do just about everything besides curing cancer itself. Among these the Iphone is definately apparent, along with many other phones out there trying to achieve the same thing as Apple did with the Iphone. These phones really are great, but you have to make sure that you buy one that is fairly durable as well as get a case because you definately don’t want this investment all scractched up. The worst part with the everything phone is that the pricetag is usually very high. Most carriers require the consumer to have a data plan on top of the normal plan for that phone which can quickly send your bill over a hundred and even two hundred dollars and even higher a month if you have more than three phones, and besides they can break fairly easily when you get into touch screens and the like. Remember the more moving parts in general the higher chance SOMETHING is gonna break sometime, and yes that includes touch screen phones.

Who will win?
I hope some of this is helpful and on your road to finding that new phones that’s great for YOU try and figure out what you would like. Go the the carriers local stores and look at some of the phones get a little hands on and be smart about what you get. It drives me insane when carriers gouge the consumer for extras. For example a text from some phones may cost twenty cents when what the company really pays for that text is a fraction of a cent, the same goes for data plans. But it’s to be expected because they have to make money somewhere or they wouldn’t be a successful buissnes but be sure to shop smart and try and get the best deal you can. Be sure to look for some future articles from me! Over the next month or so we will go into each type of phone and the phones in that category specifically for some new information.
